After the publication of DPM, Hardy Blechman, founder and creative director of maharishi and DPM, has been christened ‘The Camo Master’ by WAD magazine. For WAD’s GREEN ISSUE, David Zacharias has illustrated a camouflage themed portrait of Hardy Blechman.

From the Snopant revolution in 1995 to the opening of the first London shop in 2001, along with the ground breaking use of recycled military wear and fashion collaborations: WAD present a history of Maharishi and all its sub-brands, in both English and French.

Under the maharishi umbrella is a selection of different lines: there is MHI, the most graphic line; Recycled, the most authentic; and mahatoys, toymaker to latter-day peter pans. Then there’s also the book on camouflage called “DPM” for disruptive pattern materials.
