MAHARISHI BONSAI FOREST CAMOUFLAGE XLR8R COVER

Festival folk love camouflage! The iconic Bonsai camouflage pattern designed by Maharishi takes the cover of XLR8R, a respected American electronic music and culture magazine.

The Camouflage pattern created by Maharishi brilliantly combined the ancient oriental influential with modern disruptive pattern design, representing the spirit of balance, harmony and subversion.

Inside the magazine, the founder of Maharishi Hardy Blechman appears in Shaolin kung fu headstand pose at the Tajmahal, India, photographed by Neil Davenport in 2001. The inverse position suggests to look at things from different angles, including the symbolic meaning of camouflage.
