With the skater’s anthem “Kick,Push” rolling around the radio, Chi-town native Lupe Fiasco wanted the quality control of high fashion-houses, but the fresh, street influenced artistry he grew up wearing. Oh, and it had to be exclusive too. First discovering Maharishi (and its sub-brand MHI) through its founder Hardy Blechman’s DPM book about the history camouflage, Lupe later become a keen visitor of the Maharishi store in Soho and
considers their fashion style and he are ‘a match made in heaven’.
