DESTRUCTO DPM ANDY WARHOL TRUCKS & DPM: SERIES 2 DECKS

DPM Andy Warhol skate decks released last year are followed up with a triple collab, bringing Destructo to the table for their quality product and skills in printing on the problematic material and shape of the trucks.

Following from the success of DPM Series 1 & 2  decks and Destructo trucks, Destructo created a limited edition Product set up.

The graphics for 5 of the boards are reproductions of Warhol’s 1987 Camouflage Series, the full history of which is within the DPM First Edition. The short story is that inkeeping with Warhol’s re-appropriation of images he found in newspapers, he used the US Woodland camouflage pattern; simply changing the scale and replacing the traditional colours with his pop vision. The 6th board is a postumous collaboration between Warhol and Maharishi where the house Bonsai Forest pattern takes on a Warholian pop colourway.
